Sip your way along the Margarita Mile this summer! Eleven locations on a mile-long stretch of South Western Avenue will be mixing artisanal margaritas June 1 – July 31 for this special promotion. Joining them are Barraco’s at 2105 W. 95th St. and Chicago’s only meadery, Wild Blossom, at 9030 S. Hermitage Ave.

Rules

  • Pick up a passport at a participating location, or download a copy on this page to print yourself.
  • Enjoy a margarita along the Margarita Mile and get a sticker for your ‘passport.’
  • Visit four of the 13 locations to fill your passport, and add your contact information.
  • Return your passport with at least four stickers to BAPA at 1744 W. 99th St., Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm. Or call 773-233-3100 for other arrangements.
  • The first 100 people who turn in completed passports will receive a commemorative stainless steel tumbler.
  • All completed passports will be entered into a raffle for two $25 Bucks Stay Here e-gift cards.

In its sixth year, the Western Avenue Margarita Mile gives local establishments an opportunity to be creative and shine by offering artisanal cocktails like those associated with fine dining downtown. It also reflects the strong sense of community and pride on the far South side of Chicago.
